Information collected
If you subscribe to ULCS updates, the email address you submit is collected and processed through MailerLite. ULCS does not ask for your name, postal address, payment information, or other personal details through the signup form.
The website also records limited page-view and selected button-click counts. These records contain the page path, event type, optional button label, and time of the event. The ULCS visitor tracker does not store names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, or persistent visitor IDs, and it respects browser “Do Not Track” settings.
How information is used
Subscriber email addresses are used only to send occasional:
- ULCS taxonomy and Charter edition announcements
- Research notes and publication updates
- Material project developments
Aggregate visitor statistics are used to understand which public pages and publication links are being used and to improve the website.
Service providers
MailerLite processes and stores subscriber information and delivers subscription emails on behalf of ULCS. MailerLite may process information according to its own privacy policy and applicable data-protection terms.
The ULCS website and its privacy-friendly aggregate statistics are hosted through the website platform used to operate this site.
Sharing and sale of information
ULCS does not sell or rent subscriber information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the website and mailing list, or when disclosure is required by law.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any ULCS email. You may also request removal of your email address from the ULCS mailing list by replying to an ULCS update email.
You can enable “Do Not Track” in a supported browser to prevent the site's own page-view and button-click tracker from recording your visit.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated if the website, mailing-list service, or information practices change. The effective date shown above will be revised when material changes are published.
